David Ben Porat

 

Entrepreneur, consultant and seasoned executive with extensive global experience formulating growth strategies across several industries, specializing in technology, media and entertainment. 

 

A former senior consultant for McKinsey & Co’s Sydney office, as well as a team leader for Activate Strategy in NYC, David more recently served as VP Strategy and Marketing for Drivenets, now valued at over US$500 million, and chosen as Israel’s most promising start-up in 2019.

 

As a consultant, David focused on Strategy, Operations and Marketing across a range of industries,  identifying, evaluating and prioritizing growth opportunities, as well as designing the go-to-market strategy to capture these opportunities. He also led projects to assess new market entries, build and integrate digital businesses, extend brands and optimize cross-platform economics, identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, optimize and streamline operations, and more. 

Before becoming a consultant, he was a high-tech and IP Lawyer for HFN, and a media executive with experience in content production, managing international content acquisitions and licensing for the leading sports network in Israel.  

 

David holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (2011), and a Law degree and BA in Economics from the University of Tel Aviv (2006).
