Jasper van Halder

 

Corporate lawyer, management consultant and transformation specialist with deep expertise in supporting companies of all sizes balance competing stakeholder priorities as they turnaround, build and grow their businesses.

 

Based in Asia, Jasper is a corporate lawyer turned transformation leader at McKinsey & Company where he focused on adding value to organisations by helping them lift their performance and mobilize people around big aspirations. He particularly enjoys supporting fledgling tech companies grow into mature organisations, capable of innovating, providing sustainable employment opportunities and contributing value to shareholders and society.  

 

His areas of expertise include due diligence, performance improvement, value capture and merger integration, cultural change, team effectiveness and leadership, and digital transformations. He has worked across a range of industries including retail, manufacturing, agriculture, telecommunication, banking, global energy and materials, and advanced technologies.

 

Prior to McKinsey, Jasper was a lawyer advising on financial and corporate legal activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestments, credit facilities, public-to-private transactions, bond offerings and commercial agreements.

 

Jasper holds an MBA from AGSM of UNSW, Sydney (recipient of the AGSM excellence award), a Msc Masters in Sociology and LL.M Masters of Law, both from Groningen University, the Netherlands.

 

He lives in Queenstown, New Zealand, with his wife and three children where they enjoy outdoor summer and winter sports.
